1.) Easter Sunday - the special day we celebrate that Jesus rose to new life

2.) banks - the land that slopes sown on the sides of a river

3.) canals - ditches dug into the land to move water from one place to another; may also be used for transportation

4.) flow - to move continually

5.) reservoir - a natural or man-made ares where water is stored for future use

6.) trade - to exchange goods

7.) cuneiform - the system of writing in Mesopotamia using wedge-shaped symbols

8.) records - written information

9.) scribes - people whose job it is to write things down

10.) tablets - flat slabs of stone, clay, wood, or paper used especially for writing

11.) symbols - pictures or shapes used to stand for something else

12.) religion - the belief in and worship of a superhuman, controlling power, such as a personal God or gods

13.) temples - buildings creates for worship and practicing religious beliefs

14.) ziggurat - a tall pyramid shaped structure with a temple at the top
